In university news, last week my students had to complete a group project that involved choosing four famous people who fit into a certain category and then making a poster showcasing the people. Then they had to present some basic biographical information about the people and their achievements, think of five adjectives to describe them, and also say why they admire them. The students enjoyed it and I'm sure some of the more artistic students really liked it. Below are photos of some of the posters.
Had a bit of an uneventful trip to Beijing last weekend for the May Day holiday. Became an IELTS examiner though. I'm not at liberty to divulge information about the details of this process though, it's very confidential. After I finished that, I met Phil at the Sanlitun Hostel for a couple days and nights. It was a pretty good time, met some interesting travelers. Didn't get to take many photos though. It was a lazy trip really, but I've seen most of the sights in Beijing so just wanted to relax and party a bit. Posted a few pics below from said trip. Some interesting shots at least. |
