Well, I've been in Jeju almost two weeks now. I'm having the time of my life. No cares or responsibilities in the world, a beautiful and lovely native Korean girl by my side, the "Hawaii of Korea" island of Jeju to explore, a language and culture to experience and try to understand, delicious, unique food and new friends....this is the life. And I've been getting some great practice with photography. I still have lots of photos to go through and edit, but I've added a few below that I quite like. I'm really loving using my tripod and my new Canon 17 - 40 mm L series lens. I'll be posting more photos soon and eventually the best of my photos from my Yunnan trip. My first positive sunset shoot. I got up at 4:30 am to get to the beach before the sunrise. I kept moving around looking for spots to shoot and I was so focused that I missed the moment that the sun came up. That's one reason why the sun is too bright. I made a few mistakes over and under exposing some shots as well but overall it was a great learning experience and a beautiful morning.
